Angelica Connelly

Angelica was raised in Austin, Texas, and Athens, Greece, gaining an appreciation for the intersection of classical elements and modern design. She was drawn to design and style since long before she was aware of those concepts. When she was young, rearranging her bedroom furniture, art, and knickknacks was a form of play for her—and it remains the same today. Angelica is always inspired by reinventing and reimagining her environments. Over the past ten years and plenty of life changes, she has been fortunate to reimagine four vastly different homes for her family, in two different cities.

Among the chaos and meltdowns (experienced by both herself and her toddlers), there was learning, treasure-hunting, and soaking in every aspect of creating spaces for everyday life. There was also a renewed appreciation for working with what she had, improving what was there, and making new what was old. She is proud to say that others have trusted her to help them create spaces for them and their families.

At times collaborating with other designers and stylists, Angelica brings timeless, approachable, and whimsical touches to homes. She believes that subtle enhancements and changed perspectives can transform where we spend our days, endure life changes, and grow our families. With a lifelong love for the arts, Angelica studied at Sewanee: The University of the South, and Parsons School of Design. Her design process also reflects a second area of study in Psychology: Every project begins by exploring a client’s emotional connection to home. 

Alongside her reinventing and reimagining, Angelica stays busy raising Fiona and June with her husband, Jeffrey. They like to cook, have dance parties to Kacey Musgraves, and take family bike rides around Austin.
